The Superintendence of Companies has established the deadline to submit the BIC Management Report
The Superintendence of Companies (the “Superintendence”) enacted the External Circular No. 100-000007 of May 5, 2021 (the “Circular”) by means of which it was established the deadline to submit the BIC
Management Report (the “Report”) that Collective Benefit and Interest (“BIC” for its Spanish acronym) companies are obliged to.
In this regard, the Circular established the following matters to the BIC companies:
- Documents to submit: It must be sent to the Superintendence (i) copy of the Report, (ii) extract of the Minutes of the highest corporate body in which it was presented and approved the Report and (iii) the
support of having published the Report in the web page of the company or of being available at its domicile. - Deadline for 2021: For 2021 the BIC companies must sent the aforementioned documentation no later than July 31, 2021.
- Deadline for 2022 and further years: For 2022 and further years, the BIC companies must sent the aforementioned documentation no later than April 30 of year.
- How to send the documentation: The documentation aforementioned must be sent to email webmaster@supersociedades.gov.co, addressed to the Surveillance Group of BIC Companies
