Attorney from the Sergio Arboleda University of Bogotá, a specialist in regulation and management of telecommunications and new technologies of the Universidad Externado de Colombia and a candidate for a master's degree in State law with an emphasis on Public Law. He is a member of the Honors Program of the Law School of the Universidad Sergio Arboleda, in recognition of the outstanding personal and academic performance shown throughout his career.

Juan Manuel has more than seven years of experience in the telecommunications and new technologies sector, being the legal advisor in a multinational telecommunications company and, subsequently, as a senior associate and team leader in the practice of Telecommunications, Media and Technologies at Lloreda Camacho & Co.

His knowledge focuses on:
-Application and interpretation of regulation and rules pertaining to the telecommunications and new technologies sector.
-Deployment of telecommunications networks.
-Management and obtaining permits for spectrum use, as well as the management of licenses and permits for the operation of companies in the sector.
-Attention to requirements related to satellite operators.
-Attention to the usual corporate needs of companies in application of Colombian legislation
-Representation and defense of clients involved in contentious proceedings before judicial and administrative authorities.
-Experience as a participant of the local advisory team, of a telecommunications company, in international arbitration in matters of investment before the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes, ICSID.
