Andrés joined Lloreda Camacho & Co. in 2004. Currently, he is a Partner in the Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) practice. He is recognized as a globally-minded attorney, with extensive experience advising national and international companies across various industries and leading significant transactions. He holds a law degree from Universidad de los Andes, Andrés holds a specialization in Public Management and Administrative Institutions from the same institution, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Northwestern University in Chicago, United States.
His career has been acknowledged by prominent international directories such as The Legal 500, Chambers and Partners, and Best Lawyers, positioning him as one of the leading attorneys in Colombia in Corporate Law and M&A. - Advising Enel Group in the sale of a majority stake in Colombia ZE SAS as part of the Transmilenio 2.1 project.
- Advising Anglo American plc in the sale of 33.3% of its shareholding in the Cerrejón coal project.
- Advising Compañía Nacional de Levaduras Levapan in the sale of its subsidiaries in Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, and Uruguay to Compagnie des Levures.
- Providing legal counsel to Unilever Andina Colombia Ltda. in the acquisition of assets related to Colgate-Palmolive’s detergent business.
- Advising Biomax in the acquisition of one hundred percent of the share composition of GEAS and Fueltrans companies.
- Advising Almacenes Éxito in the acquisition of a majority stake in various supermarket chains in Argentina and Uruguay.
